Juntos Crecemos Community Grants Program
For more than 20 years, Edith Cruz has operated a popular food business in Los Loros, serving traditional breakfast foods to residents and workers travelling along the route to our Caserones operation. Her churrascas, a traditional flatbread cooked on a grill, are a local favourite and reflect the culinary traditions of the Tierra Amarilla Valley.
Through funding provided by our Juntos Crecemos community grants program, Edith upgraded her food preparation facility and purchased new equipment, helping enhance both production efficiency and product quality.
The investment supports the continued growth of a business deeply rooted in the local community. By helping preserve traditional flavours while creating new opportunities for local entrepreneurs, the project demonstrates how small investments can have a lasting impact on both livelihoods and local culture.
About Juntos Crecemos
In 2026, Lundin Mining launched Juntos Crecemos ("Growing Together"), bringing together successful long-standing community grant programs operated by our Candelaria and Caserones operations. The program provides funding that helps residents, entrepreneurs and community organizations pursue opportunities to strengthen their businesses and create lasting benefits for their communities. Projects supported through the program span entrepreneurship, community development, sport, education, culture and the environment.
