Nathan Monash is Vice President, Sustainability at Lundin Mining, responsible for leading the company’s global sustainability approach, including social performance, environmental stewardship, and external sustainability communications. He plays a key role in aligning sustainability priorities with business objectives, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and fostering long-term value for stakeholders.
Nathan brings more than 20 years of experience in the mining industry and related international organizations. Before joining Lundin Mining, he led sustainability efforts at Lundin Gold during the construction and operation of the Fruta del Norte mine in Ecuador. He previously held senior roles with AngloGold Ashanti, Rio Tinto Alcan, the International Finance Corporation, and the World Economic Forum, advancing sustainability strategy and governance across the sector.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McGill University and a Master of Arts from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
